L’esperienza più bella della nostra vita
The boundary wall of the primary school, painted by the children with Giacomo Martellacci and Arianna Martucci. The title is the children’s own description of the experience.
The theme of the work
The natural elements of the Riparbella landscape — the grapes, the wild boar, the countryside, the sea in the background — painted on the school’s boundary wall by the children who see that wall every day.
It is the last of the murals created in 2024, and it came out of the collaboration between Giacomo Martellacci — an artist from Riparbella who lives and works in Brussels — and Arianna Martucci, a young assistant painter.
Together with StArt Attitude’s artistic director, Gianguido Grassi, the two ran a workshop with the primary school children. The children did not just learn how street art comes about: they created sketches, later exhibited during the festival that unveiled the murals, and they themselves coloured in the wall.
The painting runs along the boundary wall of the primary school on Via Gramsci and depicts the natural elements of the Riparbella landscape: the grapes, the wild boar, the countryside, and the sea that is always the backdrop to the views you take in from the town.
The title of the work does not come from the artist. It is how the children described the workshop — “the most beautiful experience of our lives” — and the Municipality took them at their word.

The work runs along the boundary wall of the primary school, on the same street as the municipal gym with Vesod’s “Il sonno di Turan”: two stops on the route a few steps from each other.
