The municipal library.

The Municipal Library of Riparbella is in Piazza del Popolo, in the heart of the town. It is run by Cooperativa Microstoria and is part of the Bibliolandia network along with other bodies: the same card lets you borrow from any of its libraries.

What you will find

As well as book loans, the library gives help and support to students and organises educational workshops, readings and free training courses for residents. It is the town’s cultural hub, and also a good place to take shelter on a rainy day.

Inside there is also the museum

Since 8 March 2025 the same rooms have been home to C’ERA — Centro Espositivo Riparbella Antica, with some fifty Etruscan finds from the site of Belora and the golden crown reassembled by the Superintendency. The Municipality treats the library and the exhibition centre as a single place, with the same opening times and the same entrance.

Opening times

The library and the exhibition centre keep seasonal opening times , published by the Municipality of Riparbella:

• From 21 September to 4 April — Tuesday 3–6pm; Friday 10am–1pm; Sunday 3–5.30pm.
• From 5 April to 14 June — Tuesday 3.30–6.30pm; Friday 10am–1pm; Saturday and Sunday 3.30–6.30pm.
• From 15 June to 20 September — Tuesday 4.30–7.30pm; Friday morning; Saturday and Sunday 6–9pm.

The Municipality warns that the times can change, and refers visitors to the up-to-date calendar on Bibliolandia. There are also special openings for the town’s festivals, such as the one for the patron saint.
